I am told that tint on a moonroof could shatter moonroof glasses that are dual pane because the gap between the glasses will trap heat. haven't heard about cracking on single pane.

Does anyone know our GS is a dual pane? Seem like it would be for a $60K vehicle.

I want to open the shade, enjoy the sun without the heat. the tint that came with it doesn't really work for me.

I might try one of those clear high UV rejecting tints on it...

I'd recommend v-kool for heat rejection for the moonroof. If I had to tint my car again, I'd go with v-kool. currently on photosync.
