My new Fsport AWD will be getting here shortly and from what I have been reading, it sounds like I need to dump them and get some Michelin Primacy MXM4's or something better on ASAP if possible. Can someone tell me what brand of tires come on the AWD Fsport's and the size please? Dealer is talking about $100 a tire to swap out so I am going to try a couple local places and see what they will do once the car comes in, but I want to "pre-shop" if possible.
Thanks in advance
Jim

Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02
235-40-19
Good luck finding an A/S tire in that size however. Not many options. If the dealer will swap them out for $400, that's a good deal...do it.
You can go with 245-40-19, which will give you a lot more options.

I've got 8,400 miles on mine. I don't think they're that bad, but others will disagree. I'm coming from the awful Dunlop run-flats that were OEM on my last 2 3GS, so anything feels better than those.

I dumped the standard bridgestone turanzas in 235/40R19
and got the 245/40R19 in Michelin Primacy MXM4 94V rated tires and they are phenomenal. Smooth and good ride/handling balance. Make sure its the 94V load rating and not the 98W XL version. Otherwise the F-sport is perfect with this tire!
They also have the Michelin Primacy MXM4 in size 235/40R19 standard size in 96V rated if your dealer refuses to put the wider ones I had. I had to go for the wider tire since it was the only one available last year February 2012 but it is still compatible with the rims.

I didn't even notice there were actually 2 different types! Do you know what the differences are between these two? Looks like the 98W is quite a bit more in $ and can support more weight. Other that that am I missing something?

You are correct that 98w will take more load but its w-rated for higher speed and its firmer. I had those before switching to the v rated and its much better. Avoid 98w as its not needed for this car.
