Default Foglight options

I'm sorry if this has been answered, maybe I missed a post about it but I haven't found a thread describing the difference between different foglight models I have found for the 4GS. We all know about the stock ones that comes standard on the non F-Sport 4GS. Then there are the led ones that Sewell sells, its even cheaper than the halogen foglight with CL discount. They do look a bit weird though, reminds me of squinting eyes. Nigel also sells a different led foglight that appears to have a cool blue drl feature although it's a lot pricier compared to the other foglights. Nigels doesn't appear to have the squinting eyes look. Anybody with the Sewell led foglights or Nigels led foglights, can you help us compare?

Are you specifically looking for fogs? or just some lights to fill the area? I ask cause I picked up some very nice DRLs and they look pretty good. 15 min install, $10, priceless looks lol

After scouring numerous posts about the different foglights, I think I'm gonna go with the Led foglight that Sewell sells. They seem to have pretty good light output with a nice clean cutoff. I usually put hids in the foglights and although bright, has quite a bit of glare. The RX450h right now has 5000k hids in the foglights. I may upgrade those too to the led units.

I couldn't find much information regarding the expensive jdm led foglight that Nigel sells. e39ng, do you have any pics showing the foglights off/on and the blue drl? Thanks!

I'll take a wild guess... It's blue when it's DRL and white LED when you turn on the fog. (based on the pic you provided)

I'm putting the long edge on on the side (parallel to the the flare of the bumper) I know that might not be a good explanation lol but I will post pics and a DIY saturday after I have them installed!

Thanks and nice car! Love the lip, I almost thought your car was on air and dumped to the ground due to the third pic. Upon closer inspection, its just the removed bumper sitting on the mat.

Those foglights are , decisions decisions lol

Thanks, there's a 4GS F-Sport at my daughter school that added similar MB style led lights to his foglight area. It does look clean and he had it mounted horizontally with the small angle angling outwards and down. I'm looking for usable light though, I like how foglights light up the front and sides.
