Default 2013 GS Exterior Passenger Mirror Glass

Just noticed my exterior passenger mirror has developed a small crack ( about 1" in length )
in the center and at the bottom edge of the glass.

Is this a defect in the glass ? I am the only driver of the car and do not remember it being hit. Crack does not look a stone hit it, just a small straight line pencil crack.

I live in a cold weather climate, ( Cleveland ) usually 10 to 20 degrees at night in he winter. This should not be the problem as my other cars in my 30 years history the mirrors have never cracked.

Has anyone experience this same problem ?

Nope I live in Boston where its been pretty cold and haven't had that happen, if you don't mind can you snap a photo of it if possible.

Take it back to the dealer and see if they will replace it.

Yeah, that should be under warranty. Are those mirrors plastic?

Good thing you still have warranty. The dealers insist that you get "everything" fixed before it ends.
