Default Installed an axle back exhaust, but not too happy

I get this strange hissing / high pitch noise inside the cabin, around the dash area. Only when I accelerate and only around 2 - 3rpm. If I'm parked and rev the engine I don't hear it at all.

I went to check for exhaust leaks today. They lift the car up, plugged both exhausts then checked for leaks, but did not find anything

Not sure what else to check at this point.

Isn't that the range that the car pipes in synthetic exhaust noise (or is it "intake" roar they pipe in?).

Fix back the original to see if the sound persists. If it does then it's not the exhaust...

I went to 2 shops. The first shop did not find any leaks. The second one said that the screws are too tight and that maybe causing vibrations inside the cabin. They also said that I should try the original bolts with springs. So, we did that. However, that did not help at all, I get the same hissing / high pitch sound inside the cabin when I accelerate.

I had a pinhole in my midpipe that made a similar noise only on hard acceleration. It was very hard to find on one of the weld joints. It was a very tiny hole, but made a very annoying sound that you could hear in the cabin when you stepped on it.

Try contacting him on Instagram @JoeZPerformance
Like someone else said, install the oem mufflers and see if the noise is there.

I am trying to get rid of my JoeZ full cat back - selling the car. I posted it up on ebay today but I don't think I can post the link here. - After putting it back to stock - I had an exhuast leak, took it to dealer and took care of it. A lot of times, it's the gaskets that are used. Get some NEW oem ones.

Thanks Joe! Sorry, forgot to update the thread. Exhaust is great and so is the service.
