Useful dealer configuration form when in for service
Found this form on Lexus.com. Useful when going in for initial 5000 mile service and wanting Dealer Only settings changed. .

Thanks! There's a few items in there I wasn't aware of.
I knew I wanted to program the opening of the windows and sunroof with the key fob but will make sure the buzzer while doing so is set to off and now I will also be lowering the flasher volume.

Out of curiosity, why did you want to program the opening of windows and sunroof with the key fob? I'm at 4500 miles and trying to finalize what I want to get changed. Thanks!

For me, I find it useful. I had the feature on my 2000 GS and used it a 10 times a year in hot weather. While approaching the car it gives some ventilation before I get in. Besides, it never had a downside. Not like I press and held the open button for 3 seconds on accident. So why not? Now with keyless entry, I wonder how often I will pull the key out to open the windows.

I don't for the life of me understand why all of the settings can't be done by the owner. Lexus is having a seriously hard time giving up the "blue haired lady" syndrome where they are catering to old ladies who have nothing better to do than come by the dealership and have a Latte while the service department is setting when lights go on and off etc.

Primarily for ventilation in the summer before jumping in the car. But it's also easier to open everything this way if you're going to drive around with everything open.
