I mean that is a little over embellished.... I don't know when it thinks to make the alarm but if you're coming up on slower traffic pretty quickly, it goes off.
Mine must not be working then. I've come up on traffic pretty fast and no alarms.
My dynamic radar cruise works, but I'm wondering if the PCS works. I never get any alerts about eyes not focused on the road or beeps alerting me of imminent crash. Are the lights above the steering wheel supposed to be on?
I don't have PCS on my GS, but had it on my RX and have it on my Highlander. My experience is the same as yours. I've never had it kick in. I don't think I've ever been close enough to another car to need it/activate it.

PCS works by calculating closure speed and proximity. For instance, pcs doesn't alarm when parking your car even though you're very close to some objects. PCS doesn't alarm at 75 mph when someone gets inside the adaptive cruise radar chosen distance. But if your near imminent collision is recognizable by the car and you're doing nothing to avoid or stop it, the alarm and action should go bananas. Mine does.

Correct, and by stating that I haven't been close enough to another car to activate it, this is what I am referring to. I haven't been in a "near imminent collision" and hope to keep it that way.
