Default OEM 235/45/19 tires VS new 245/40/19 (13' AWD F-Sport)

Can anyone who has changed their tires to 245's share their experience and/or thoughts? Thanks

No problem with doing this for 2 years now. Better ride and comfort. More traction and good stability. Better protection to my rims. No rubbing.

Out of curiosity, which tire did you go with in 245/40/19?

I went with the Michelin Primacy MXM4 94V rated tires. I love them. So smooth and good ride and handling balance even in sports + mode without sacrificing too much. Great tread wear and traction. Its average in snow but its an all season and I am picky so I put Bridgestone Blizzaks LM-32 on separate winter rims in size 245/40R19.

Does the Primacy have a lip to protect the wheel. I don't like the performance of the Bridgestones that my car came with but the lip is nice.

Its thick enough to protect the rims from any curb rashses.
