I'll probably be going in about a week or so. Let me know what questions you all have and I will report back.

Is there a way to improve the sound for the mobile phone link? I know how to make it louder but how do you improve the quality of sound? Someone mentioned there's a secret hidden setting screen somewhere.

I can't believe how poor the quality is on the bluetooth phone. Even my 2007 Acura was better as it used all the speakers. Why does it only come out of the fronts in this car? Terrible! Would love to see if there's another setting to make it come out of all.

What setting makes the seat heaters or coolers remember if they were turned on after you turn the engine off? My car will not remember if I had the seat heater on, but the loaner I had the other week did remember.

This is what was in the secret menu. I was too afraid to touch anything though lol.

I'm going to have to find the thread with the instructions. I just remember the car has to he in the on position (engine off) and flick the lights in and off a couple times. I'll find it and post it up.

I went to Lexus today. Here is what he said.

How do I receive iPhone texts thru Bluetooth? Make sure notifications is on under Bluetooth. Mine wasn't...

How do I see the next song coming up in the playlist? Not possible.

Is there a way to improve the sound for the mobile phone link? I know how to make it louder but how do you improve the quality of sound? Someone mentioned there's a secret hidden setting screen somewhere. He didn't know. Ask a tech?

He said that is a default setting. It will adjust itself automatically for heating or ventilating depending on the weather outside, so that often causes confusion.

I did some Googling and found this CL thread from the ES section:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...e-quality.html

Instructions from an IS owner:

Same setup as in the IS and I've had similar issues. The phone connection itself is fine, occasionally I'll lose Bluetooth signal entirely... Sound is degraded by vents aimed up. Quality is generally good although my wife occasionally states she can't hear me... not that the volume isn't good, but that it's breaking up.

I was able to improve this by increasing the "send" setting in the bluetooth settings by +1...

If you have nav you access by holding "info" and going from off to on for the headlights 3 times....

Then select the "bluetooth/tel check" then "handsfree voice quality" then adjust the send level by one....
DO NOT change the "voice quality type" setting.

Holding DISP for 3 seconds should take you out of this menu, or restarting the car....

Give it a try guys and report back.

Maybe I am a knucklehead, but where is the "info" button?

If it is set to AUTO, then whatever temperature you set on the climate control will dictate the level of HEAT or COLD for the seats....
