- Insider - seat heater change
#16
My 2013 GS F Sport has always remembered the seat heater settings. Even after getting the dealer to update the software so that it stops 'auto-declining' the seat heater power over time (before it would go from 3 to 2 to 1, and now it just stays on 3 if that's where I have it set) the settings are still remembered after turning off the car then later restarting. So I'm not sure what's going on with yours.

I believe that is indeed a separate setting, but it's also possible that it's not a setting at all - i.e. some models are just programmed to remember whether the seat heaters are on, and some are programmed not to remember it... and maybe this can't be changed. But I'll try to find a changeable setting and let you guys know. If anyone knows whether the dealer can change such a setting, that would be very useful info to me. Thanks.

Quick update: we've just released version 2.1 of Carista officially (no beta designation anymore), which adds a bunch of new settings, including the seat heater one that was mentioned in this thread. Please update or if you don't have the app, get it!

Still no iOS version? You're missing out on a LOT of sales.

Now that we're done with version 2.1 for Android, we're about to start working on an iOS version. But keep in mind, apps are not built overnight (well, quality apps anyway)
Still, now that we have the vehicle-specific expertise, it should be relatively straightforward to port what we've built on Android to iOS.

Will forward to updates regarding iOS release for sure.
