Lease questions & Help
I am thinking of leasing a 2014 GS350 AWD F-Sport (w/BSM, IPA and Preferred Accessory Package). Can someone please tell me what numbers I should be looking at for a 27 month lease with 10k miles (MF and Residual?) - is there anything else to watch out for? I was quoted a price of $53,500 before the Lease Rebate, so I am hoping they will come down to $51,750 after the Rebate. But I'm afraid the dealer will try to sneak in hidden fees because they already were tentative to match the $53,500 price. What else should I be on the lookout for? Is there a normal acquisition fee? Is that different than the Dealer Fee of $499?
--------
Secondly, I ran the Edmunds.com lease calculator using a MF of 0.0004 and a Residual of 70% ($41,819 on an MSRP of $59,742) which I've seen others say they got. I'm in Virginia so tax unfortunately is charged all up front - off of the purchase price. I used a $551.75 value for Title, Registration & Dealer Fees, $1750 rebate, and a $700 acquisition fee.
Comes out to $470 per month. I heard if I put multiple security deposits down, I can lower the MF to 0.0002 which would lower the payments to $450.
Am I doing this correctly? I've never done this before  Don't know if they'll let me go without a down payment - if I have to, I'll use my trade-in as the down payment (Worth ~$5000).
This works out to be $53,969 if I buy the car at the end of the lease or basically very close to the price of purchasing it with the option to get something else at the end of the 27 months (maybe the 2016 GS350)
I know a lot of folks here know a lot about leasing so I'm looking forward to you being able to help!
Thanks!

Any lease experts?
Edmunds forums said the residual on a 27 month / 10k per year lease is 68% and a 0.00065 MF but I've seen others on here getting better, even those who bought this month. Does these figures change that often?
My dealer is offering a price of 54,200 (before the 1750 rebate) on a 59,742 MSRP GS350 AWD F-sport I don't have all the numbers worked out from the dealer but does this seem like a good deal assuming I use the numbers above and buy down the MF with MSDs?

Look at the thread above, i used some numbers from west cost and they matched those numbers, so i got my GS 3 days ago. I don't know if every dealer will do that because west coast and east coast have 3% residual difference that why west coast lease numbers are better. I had to drive an hour and half to get the number i wanted and the car i wanted. But the thread above really helped me to negotiate the deal.
Good luck with search.

I will look it over later, as far as MF it hard to say, i think .0006 is the right one but the differance b/n .0006 and .0004 is like
$500 so i wouldnt worry to much.
Looks like you did your homework $470 is about right with mf .0004 if .0006 is $490.

When
You get there their numbers and your numbers will not match. They are gonna hit you at $540 or so. Hidden fees and all. Stay focus and tell them what you want or else! Be patient it may take 7-8hours to do the deal.
In the contract look for Rent charges make sure they are not more than $1000 , some weird packages, and other strange fees

This thread has good info and lists specifics:

Your lease deal should not take 7-8 hours. You can get everything done via the internet sales dept w/various dealers. Let them fight for your business via email. You can get everything regarding the sales price, lease terms, etc. before you ever step foot into the dealer. Much better than trying to do all of that face-to-face.
Also, here is a good lease calculator that will rate your lease deal:
http://www.ridewithg.com/calculator/index.html
Also, with a lease, you want to try and put ZERO money down.
Good luck! :-)

Yeah 7-8 doesn't always happens, just speaking from my experience.
I always get the price first online, but then i find that when i get to the dealer they try to stick me with load of crap and you have to fight before the contract is made then after, sometimes even redo the contract 2-3 times bc they still playing games to the end.!!

I ended up not going to the dealer at lunch - my friend who is the Internet Sales Manager at a different dealership told me late last night that he traded for a GS350 F-Sport in one of the colors I wanted (I asked for either Ultra White/Black or Liquid Platinum/Black and he got Liquid Platinum) - Wife prefers that color and I hope this will make the deal go a lot smoother since it is someone I know, I don't think he will screw me over.
Only bad thing is the dealer is 1.5 hours away, so I have to wait until my wife comes home so we can take 1 car there and drive 2 home (I am not trading my car, got $1000 more by selling it privately). But I should be picking her up tonight - can't wait. This will be my first new car since 2002! :-O My wife has a 2011 ES350 but I don't drive it that often.

LOL - I brought my laptop with me so I can run the numbers independently - I made a spreadsheet that calculates everything, including tax and stuff.
Only thing I'm not sure of is the MF - I was told 0.00110 but that was before they ran my credit. Hoping I qualify for 0.00065 or 0.0004 which others have - that would bring the price down a lot.
Right now I'm at $54k sale price on a MSRP of $59,818 minus $1750 rebate and 0.00110 (TBD) and a 68% Residual with a monthly payment before taxes of ~569 and then after taxes (because VA sucks an I have to pay the tax on the entire purchase price) of $650.83 ... tax is $2187 (4.05%).
The Liquid Platinum is beautiful though - the car looks immaculate inside and out - can't say the same about the Ultra White I drove at the other dealership. It looked kind of nasty - even had an empty can of soda in the back seat and the Sales guy said it was missing a button on the passenger side power seats. This one doesn't have anything like that - but I had to drive ~2 hours to get it Maybe 2 hours back home (hopefully 1.5 hours cuz traffic will be better). But probably worth it.

Tax is 4% i thougt it was 5. Well with .0011mf paym are $530 by my calc. I change the residual and the tax. So, I am not sure how they got $650
Like i said they are gonna pull all kinda crap on you.
The differance bn .0006 and .0011 is $1300 so you did your homework and you got $490m with .0006mf they have .0011 it should only go up by $50 or so
