Yeah as I didn't want them to not warranty the whole problem. Pretty sure they would have blamed the exhaust as the cause.

SMFH so my car went into limp mode this morning randomly. I'm thinking it might have to do with the O2 sensors. Just what I needed right before my chemistry final. I'm gonna have to pick up an OBD scanner on the way home.

Ok so I went and bought an OBD scanner and I got a cylinder 5 misfire code (P0305). the car is running fine right now but I'm a bit nervous to drive it around and see if it goes back into limp mode...

Are you still under warranty, if so I would bring it in and show them the code cause I'm sure you deleted it already.

Yup. I'm taking it in tomorrow morning. I'm just uneasy driving it around until then.

So Lexus said it might have been bad gas. There wasn't anything stored in the computer but this code. They said the car is perfectly fine though. Weird...
