Is there a way to disable the auto power off feature after the engine is shutoff? This weekend I was at a drive-in movie theater so I needed to have the radio/accessories on when the car is not running, but it would auto power-off every 25 minutes or so.

I tried the method of keeping the radio on by shutting the car off in neutral (vs in park) which kept the radio, but it would still power off after 25 minutes.

Any ideas how to override the auto power off ?

having had three GS's I never thought this was possible, probably some sort of safety reason.

Nope! It's the battery protection.

I was watching a movie and I was getting to the good part and... BAM!! the power cut off.

As ItzFilyO said, many newer cars come with the safety protection where the car will automatically shut everything off after a certain time or battery consumed to prevent the car's battery dying. I do not think it is possible to shut it off. Maybe you can ask the dealers to do it?
