Are the rears naturally stanced out? Like negative camber? I have 20k on my tires and they are worn down to cords on inner edge. Someone told me the rear is like a honda and I'd have to get new control arms. Any input from you guys would be greatly appreciated. I am running staggered 20" Vossen wheels (info should be in my sig).

I was wrong, here's my specs. 20x9 +32 w/ 245/35r20 Nitto NT555 front, 20x10.5 +45 w/ 275/30r20 Nitto NT555 rear. Suspension is stock.

20k out of your tires I would be stoked with that! Performance cars tend to have negative camber stock to improve handling, also since we have staggered wheels obviously we can't rotate them which hurts the tire wear as well.

As long as they're wearing out evenly then I'm ok with replacing these OEM tires early. I can see that my Bridgestones aren't going to last long.

I can always replace them with less grippy tires that will last longer, I don't track my car anyway.

But if it's wearing down to the cords on the inside (aka uneven wear) then we got a bigger problem.

I guess I'll just replace the rear tires and check the alignment. I won't have the car in another 20,000 and I still have the stocks to put back when I sell or trade it in. Looks like this can be corrected with a rear camber kit. I see a few threads about it on the suspension tab.

Did you check the air pressure every month?
20K out of performance tires is pretty good though. Only time I got more than that was on expensive tires. I was not gonna wear them out faster than needed so I checked the air every 2 weeks and that did the trick.
Alignment is not gonna help. There is no camber adjustment on Lexus cars. Only need to adjust if the toe is out of spec.

Bottom line, you have to pay to play in the big league.

Negative camber = less oversteer. I believe the GS out handles the 5 Series.

Yeah, it's all good. I'm just gonna replace and move on. Now I'm contemplating switching brands and replacing all 4 though. Also, alignment is free cause we have one at out shop. I do keep an eye on tire pressure with the TPMS and adjust accordingly.
