What's the best bargaining price for 2014 GS350 F-sport?
#16
So I got one of the dealer to lower price to $53,354. Do you think he will go any lower? If I told him 52,000 will that be asking too much? He told me invoice was $55,354 and that he was going $2000 below invoice, and that's the best he can do. Is he speaking the truth?
Thanks.
Thanks.

When I was going to start negotiating, I looked up "Costco" Lexus dealers. One came up and their website had the car that I wanted. I had to physically go the dealership before they would "share" the "Costco" price. When they didn't have the car that I wanted, it became frustrating to get them to divulge the Costco price. When I finally did find out what it was, $500 under invoice but then a (maybe) bs advertising fee of $750 added back on, another dealership - who did have the car that I wanted - agreed to match the price. It did save time with the haggling.

DCH Lexus in Oxnard gave us $52,900 on a similar GS -- Nebula Gray/Black F Sport (MSRP 59,383) which was better than the other Central/So Cal dealers were willing to do. We did all negotiating online too and our local dealer couldn't/wouldn't come close. Tom Zachariah is the internet manager at DCH and has a pretty good rep on the forums. He was a cool guy to deal with. We got about $170 under that when the deal was done. Probably could have got a bit better but was happy with the deal and will be picking it up on Sunday!
