Default Exhaust Showdown - Invidia vs. JoeZ

I have a 13' GS Luxury; I can't stand the exhaust system on this car. My last couple of cars were v8 apart from a GS450h that I still own.. I have heard Invidia is closer to a V8 exhaust tone and I have heard its sounds more like Infiniti's exhaust. I don't want my GS to sound like a Infiniti. I have also read JoeZ full exhaust has a lot of low rpm drone. Has anyone had both systems that can give me a good comparison? I'd like to do full exhaust because I don't mind a deep rumble but I don't want that aluminum can Infiniti/Honda sound

Meisterschaft is way too loud.. I want a simple luxury exhaust tone that will be deep but comfortable for my passengers.

Since you want a particular sound, I'd visit a performance shop and have them build you a custom cat-back and maybe they can swap out just the mufflers until you find the one you like.

Meisterschaft is kinda loud , I went with the full exhaust from Invidia and i am super happy. There's no a lot of drone in the cabin , you do hear it when you get on it.

Lexon axle back and the Invidia mid pipes fits that bill. I had the complete Invidia exhaust - mid pipes and axle back and it was a bit too much for me. The Lexon axle back combined with the Invidia mid pipes was what worked for me. The down side to going the Lexon route is that the cost of the axle back versus the other options. It does allow you to run their rear diffuser if you decide to bolt on the tips or you can leave them off and keep the stock rear diffuser.

Sorry I don't have any sound clips, you'll have to trust me.

You can't have a thread about exhausts and midpipes and NOT post audio/video clips. All of these comments are highly subjective and open to interpretation. Just post a video so people can compare the sounds.

I have the Invidia Midpipe and the Joe Z axle back together. I have the video on my build thread if you want to check it out. It wont let me post the video on here for some reason. File might be too large

I'm having a shop install this on my AWD with some elbow grease. From the video, sounds great.
