DRL always on "full" brightness
Hi Guys,
I've recently came across a site that sells a bypass unit that would allow me to bypass the DRL brightness adjustment settings to "Full" brightness even when the headlights are on. Instead of the "dim" mode when the headlights are on.
The problem is i can't seem to find the site anymore, i'm pretty sure i found the site in this forum. Can anyone help?
Thanks a million!

I'm guessing the DRLs drop around 30%-50% in brightness when the headlights are turned on. The DRLs are still very visible even at the reduced brightness, so I'm not sure it would be worth the cost to have them at full brightness with the headlights on.

Yeah, if you do this, limit it to car show usage. If it's anything like the Audi folks that brighten their DRLs with VCDS (think Techstream), full brightness at night with headlights on will likely get you high beamed by other drivers. Daylight makes it actually pretty deceptive as to how bright the DRLs really are at full brightness.

Might have been over on Audizine actually. I kind of recall reading about that particular incident when I was messing with the DRLs on my old car.
