I have looked searched everywhere and can't find a solution to the path a car would take from Japan to the DFW area. Of course it travels by ship to the US. Would it unload at California or steam on around to Florida? Next would it be transported by rail or truck? Just Curious, well anxiously awaiting.
Oregon gets the AWDs and JAX gets the RWDs.
I would imagine it is then taken by rail to a closer location, and then likely trucked from there to each dealership.
Some have said in the past that there is also a port in Los Angeles/San Diego or something...but no dealer I've ever spoken to knows anything about that port.

Yeah like I was saying in my previous post, it seems like the price went up but according to edmunds.com it includes Navigation, the GS350 navigation option used to cost about 1700, and the price increase is only 900, so a car equipped with navigation is cheaper. A GS without navigation was a rarity on 2013/2014 model years anyway.

Dealer told me Saturday you can still count on 8-9% margin to allow dealers to negotiate even on 2015s. I ordered a 2015 and got $2500 off a GS350 F sport package 1. Very happy. Also got option to move to RC350 F sport before I pickup if I like the RC when it finally arrives. Still no arrival date for Canada on the floor. GS arrives later this month.
In Canada best part of the 2015s is that we now have parking assist and blind spot monitors as well as next generation navigation which were not even possible on 2014s. Sucks if you took a late year 2014 when the 2015s came in better equipped and cheaper too.

Well cars and technology are always changing and they get better every year, so if u keep waiting for a better one then u'll be waiting forever.
The 4GS gets old when the 4.5GS comes out and the 4.5 will get old again when the 5GS comes out, and so on.
Just buy what u want (and can) now and swap it for another one a few years later. Most of us here are just leasing anyway, so u will get a new one again.
