At first I thought the Gran Coupe was the hideous, hunchback GT model until I did some google image searching. The Gran Coupe looks like a nice choice. Behold the GT, the Pontiac Aztek of the BMW lineup:

I have a coworker that has a 5 Series GT just like the one pictured above. She bought it over the 5 Series and GS which were her other top choices. Yes...its hideous...BUT I do have to say, it drives great, and its very spacious inside, and the hatch gives it a great deal of utility.

Its an interesting vehicle, kudos to BMW for having the courage to try something different.

Would I buy one? No LOL

I love the Gran Coupe, but that is a $100,000 car...nearly double a GS 350.

Whoa, whoa. I didn't realize what commotion I caused lol. Yes the 650i GC isn't a fair comparison to the GS obviously, but I did get a pretty good deal on it. 2014 with 3K miles $103k sticker, paid $78.5k. I paid $51k for the GS350 brand new, so it's definitely a difference but not double. I've abandoned you guys for now... but I might come back

No emotion here at all. The post of mine you quoted was in response to someone asking if the 6 Series Grand Coupe and the 5 Series GT were different, and I responded that they were "completely different".

The 6 GC is a great car, and clearly a superior car to the GS. Enjoy!

Didn't mean to single out your post in my reply. I meant for all the people talking about Gran Coupe vs the GT. Appreciate it sir!

Congrats. No point in getting a new car if it's not an upgrade from the last.

Sweet. U already got new wheels. Too bad the bolt pattern is different between BMW and Lexus. Those bronze wheels would have looked killer on the 6. Nonetheless, that's one fine lookin car. Definitely jelly.
