Hi everyone - I'm looking to pull the trigger on a 2014 Lexus GS F Sport AWD after a long and gruesome process. A few questions and looking for some help. If anyone can respond asap it would be appreciated:
1 - Does the navigation have birdseye 3D video or is it only heading up. The 2015 model gets a new multimedia system and new navigation as well
2 - Does anyone have the remote start feature? It is an add on and I know that the 2014 model doesn't get the new enform app that was just released
Any other reason why I shouldn't pull the trigger and just wait until December for the FY15 models.
I know the AWD loses a lot of the F Sport true specs that make it amazing but unfortunately needed it around the DC Metro area.
14 MY GS will not have birds eye view, just North up, and directional. 2015 will, along with the Lexus Enform Remote. The new Enform Remote is pretty sweet!

That sucks, I was told it does. I'm coming from a 2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid S so will definitely miss their navigation. It was pretty crisp and clear.
Any other thing you don't like about the 2014? Do you have a 15 or 14?
The navigation question is tricky. The 2014 model has (sort of) 3-d pictures that show the next intersection/freeway exit for your route, but its static, so you don't see yourself moving along the road on it. You only see your real-time progress on the overhead map. (See below)

I have remote start- absolute garbage do not waist your money it simply doesn't work, or only work 10 feet away. Mine was installed by the dealer.
The December to Remember deals are really awesome, so you might want to wait just a bit and take advantage of those deals. I think the December to remember deals start sometime in November, so only a few weeks.

I just got a 2015 GS350 F-Sport today...I notice you mention the Enform remote, it is working for my 2015. From my understanding at some point they will make "remote" available to earlier GS versions to what extent I don't know. I was told that for 2014 GS models "remote" would be available mid 2015?? Remember though that it's possible that at that point you would have to pay the service fee of like $250 per year as it would only come with a year trial free during new car purchase only. Someone else chime in if there are discrepancies here.
