If your F Sport is AWD those wheels should fit, the F Sport only gets the bigger front brakes in RWD configurations.

Have a 2013 AWD with 18 in. rims and drove 2 winters on the stock Michelin Primacy MXV4 all seasons. Bought a set of Bridgestone LM-32 winter tires last last year and am very happy with them. Decent grip in snow, ice, slush with the LM-32. I don't have a sense of how they perform on rain soaked roads as we often have through Toronto area winters and is surface that is a weakness for winter tires.

I got a set of Michelin X ice on 18" wheels for winter on my GS AWD F Sport and found they were great in the snow and at high speed on the highway. IMO a set of wheels/tires for winter is cheaper than a slip and bang!

For the original poster, I've lived in NJ for years and have never had a problem with either the'06 GS or my current '13 GS in the winter time, using all season tires that came with the car.
While there have been quite a few snowfalls in the past couple of years, there have been very few days when the major roads have had anything more than an inch of snow, actually mostly salty slush. The overwhelming majority of NJ winter driving does not require snow tires. Sure, there are times when they are clearly superior, like side streets that have not been plowed. I've found that packed snow/ice are far more of a winter problem here than deep snow. Very rarely does the anti-skid (ABS) kick in, unless I provoke it to see how much traction I'm getting on that stretch of road.
What -is- important is that you have premium all season tires that have a lot of tread left on them - I replace them way before they get close to the legal limit. My '06 GS came with the all season run flats (don't recall what brand) which were OK, but when it came time to replace them, I went with all season Michelin MXM4, which were a bit cheaper... HUGE difference!!! It was like getting a new car!!! The Michelins were far quieter, and handled much better. My '13 GS came with the Michelin all season, and I'm quite satisfied...11k miles on the clock, and plenty of tread.

Question for owners the snow belt
Just remember, they are winter tires not snow tires. They aren't just for snow, they're for cold temperatures. I think NJ is on the cusp of whether or not they are worthwhile, but it's an important distinction.

I happen to have a very hilly drive to work and it so happens I have to drive my wife to work in the snow (because, well, she's a bit of a weenie and afraid to drive in the snow ). I put dedicated snows in my previous car, a 2013 Ford Fusion, which was FWD. Those tires made the car bulletproof in the snow and it was only FWD. My biggest concern is the beautiful 19" wheels on this AWD F sport. I just know that potholes will be waiting out there this winter to F##k them up because there is no money in NJ to fix the roads and they are crap. A safe bet, I feel, is to get 18 inch wheels and tires (because if I just buy tires and have them mounted on these graphite gray wheels, the wheels are nearly guaranteed to get dinged up). The cost will be about $1,400 but I think may be well worth it considering 2 bad winters in a row. Comments are welcome and thanks.
