The scratch is not bad, I've got it touched up to where its pretty invisible. Some wetsanding would improve it even more.

Wheels are a little different. They actually spray color and clearcoated your wheel, making a repair like that on a car paint surface, especially a silver car is another matter. I don't want to make the situation worse by having a section of the C pillar painted and have there be a spot that looks obviously repainted.
If I do have it wetsanded it would be professionally, in terms of the touchup and buffing I'm as capable at that as a professional because of my experience.

thanks for sharing OP. We all make mistakes, we're human. I know it hurts, I've felt that way way too many times, don't ask how i know...=p. I've dropped a paint can on my new car before and dented it. Curbed my new rims..etc. But what I tell myself is, I rather damage my own car and learn from it, compared to someone else doing it. Like you walked out a grocery store and you saw your car all dented up..etc.
You'll like this one. About a few months after we got our first Lexus, which is this GS-F, I scratched the leather seats while getting in and sitting w/ my camo shorts. Those buttons on the back pocket, I guess I sat down too fast at the wrong angle and scratched up my seats. I was pissed at myself for weeks. Finally got over it.
