This is the real one from a Lexus dealer and it's flat on the back. Our fender badges have 2 pins on the back.

It is fake. If it doesn't come with the Toyota packaging with the part number, it's fake.

That's what I plan to do. I like to keep it as OEM as possible and that is how the 2015 came from the factory.
And from my experience, these badges have their own curves that follow the body shape, so if u place them somewhere else it wouldn't sit right. Some badges are not flat on the back.
Or go wild and replace the fender badges with F badges only and change the rear to GS F from the IS F badges.

I got my badge for my '14 from Sewell last week; this badge is not flat on the back, but it appears to be an F Sport badge for a non-GS, as the curve on the back doesn't match the curve of the trunk in the position the 2015s have it. That being said, it wasn't so pronounced that the badge doesn't go on properly or looks bad. In fact, I didn't even notice until it was on the car and I was inspecting it in my usual paranoid fashion. You have to get your face six inches away from the badge looking along the edges to tell once it's on the car. I'm not particularly concerned about it, although if I had known ahead of time, I'd have waited to order it from the 2015 GS parts catalog instead. Still looks good, though! If anyone wants a picture of that, I can post it tomorrow probably.
