Does your fuel door rattle when you turn it up? Wondering if anyone found a good solution..

 

Anyone know the sizes for the speakers in the doors?

 

A lot of Lexus cars had an undefeatable filter at 35Hz, so you couldn't get a signal below that. Did you just tap the sub line, and do you have measured signals below that threshold?

@Omghi2 - be careful just replacing speakers, the amps have a ton of DSP in them including Eq, time alignment, etc. If you change out the speakers and they are different depths or impedences, you will mess up your soundstage entirely.

In general, I've been told if you are replacing a Lexus audio system, you have to do the whole thing. Unsure if this is still true.

I have beat sonic module ... the shop order the product and install for me.

 

I have two layers of dynomat on the inside of the gas cap door. It reduced it a bit.

 

i took mines apart and just put hushmat and silicone in it. doesnt rattle as much.

 

Is it boxed behind that or IB?

 

Which Sonic Beat module did you get? the NT or BB ?

 

Anyone use the JBL MS8 or Audison Bit10 or Bit1 yet? Im not sure what interior speakers I want to go with but this is the equipment I have so far:
2 JL w6v3's
1200/1v3
300/4v3
1.5 farad capacitor

 

Sell the cap on craigslist, it does nothing but add weight.
