Default Lease Price

Just got offer for F-Sport AWD MSRP of $56,745 for 36 mo/12K miles a year at $535/mo. That includes all taxes (8.625%) rolled in but have to pay bank fee and first payment up front - somewhere around $1300. They are also paying my last two payments on my '13 GS and the disposition fee plus not having to pay for the brakes that would have been needed on the 2013. Good deal or can I do better? In NY.

What disposition fee? I have never heard of that one in NY and leased vehicles many times. Be careful, they may also charge you acquisition and disposition fees on your new lease. Which dealer in NY do you lease it from?

Thanks for the reply. Disposition fee is standard with Lexus (an every other car I have leased) but they get rid of it if you lease or buy another Lexus. We are on Long Island and every dealer charges a bank fee of $700; not sure if that's the same thing as an acquisition fee.

This is why I will never again lease a vehicle. I am tired of giving 20K or more for lease for 3 years. I would rather keep it for 5-6 years, finance it and then re-sell that 57K Lexus for half of that price, probably more then half. Especially a Lexus which holds its value better then most other cars.

$535 a month with taxes included sounds pretty decent. I would definitely shop around at other Lexus dealerships to see if you can get a better deal. Worst case scenario, most other dealerships will match your price or might even give you a better deal. This is the best time to lease or buy a car in general cause of the year end clearance and they will need to get rid of 2015 models as refreshed 16's come in.

Just swapped my 2013 GS RWD for 2015 GS AWD F-sport (BSM, nebula, flaxen, 36m/12k), zero down, all in $534 in Northern VA / Pohanka Lexus. Apparently, MF went down from .0007 to .00035 9/22--prob could hv fought for a better deal but didn't want to travel to Alexandria or Rockville.

Pretty terrible lol.. price almost drops in half after 2-3 years. So in essence you're actually losing less money overall if you lease at a good rate, but then again you don't get that feeling ownership and being able to do what ever you want with your car. That's the price you pay for that I suppose lol.

Or you can just buy the car when it's 2-3 years old like me lolol.

Hey guys, new to the forum. Been researching Lexus lease pricing on the 2015 GS 350 w/F Sport for about 2 days and it looks like I might have missed my shot for the best deals. New Oct. MF and Res. are 0.0017 and 57% with $4000 lease cash. With that said, it appears like there is still opportunity to claim a decent deal around $500 a month w/no money down BUT dealers in Ohio have refused to come below $53000 gross Cap Cost on $58k MSRP vehicles. It seems several people on here have had Gross Cap prices between $50k-$51k less the incentive ($4000). Any idea why this is? Is Ohio just more stingy in pricing then other states? Any information would help greatly. Thanks!

**Guess I should also add that if Ohio pricing is higher, are there any neighboring states with dealerships that are willing to go lower? I've talked to two dealerships and when I started talking at $50k gross Cap Cost they said if somebody is offering you that go for it because the lowest we could touch is $53k.**

I'm toying with the idea of terminating my lease early and doing a buyout at another dealership.

If I were to do this, can I still recover the multiple security deposits from Lexus?

Update on October lease. The new MF and Residuals really aren't friendly at all (looking at 36mo/12k miles). I'm located in Ohio and I can't get anybody below a $600 a month payment in Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky/Illinois currently. Some how some way in the greater Washington DC area I have 3 dealers looking to deal:

1. 2015 GS w/F Sport $56,670 MSRP with a selling number around $45k a dealer can get me too $545 a month all in and no first months payment.

2. 2015 GS w/F Sport $57,770 MSRP (blind spot & park asst added) with a selling number around $45k a dealer is willing to do $535 a month with $1k down.

3. 2015 GS w/F Sport & Mark Levinson $59,200 MSRP with a selling number around $48k a dealer is offering me $565 a month with first month payment down.

Any thoughts on the best one? Makes me sick I waited until Sept. 30th to decide to go with a Lexus over another Acura (lease is up on Tuesday) and I missed out on the great MF/Residuals. I'd probably get a payment in the mid to high 400's with the selling price numbers I've worked out.

What about buying it out and waiting until December for a better deal?
