Buy it out? As in my current lease?

Question as well for GS leasers, is getting the wheel and tire protection a necessity?

Thanks again!

Some how some way in the greater Washington DC area I have 3 dealers looking to deal:

1. 2015 GS w/F Sport $56,670 MSRP with a selling number around $45k a dealer can get me too $545 a month all in and no first months payment.

2. 2015 GS w/F Sport $57,770 MSRP (blind spot & park asst added) with a selling number around $45k a dealer is willing to do $535 a month with $1k down.

3. 2015 GS w/F Sport & Mark Levinson $59,200 MSRP with a selling number around $48k a dealer is offering me $565 a month with first month payment down.

Any thoughts on the best one? Makes me sick I waited until Sept. 30th to decide to go with a Lexus over another Acura (lease is up on Tuesday) and I missed out on the great MF/Residuals. I'd probably get a payment in the mid to high 400's with the selling price numbers I've worked out.
Similar result with dealer...ie poor October lease deals...my salesman completely dropped the 2015 lease proposal as not realistic and shifter to a purchase proposal with a $7K price reduction with "a number of programs" available.

Seems like you are being offered $11-$12K purchase price reduction post 10/01?? Is that on a lease proposal or also for a purchase outright option? Thanks...TomMartin

Just picked up my 2015 GS 350 w/F Sport yesterday and couldn't be happier with the deal I received. The dealer actually said when it was all said and done they had to get an exception to back date their previous deal from last month to close it which made it all the more worth while (another story in it of itself). Large part of the credit goes to this forum so thanks again prior leasers. Details are below:

-Picked up in Washington, DC but car will be registered in Ohio (pay taxes on full value of vehicle compared to just lease payments)

MSRP: $57,5k
Selling price: $50,278
Residual: 34,500
Taxes: 3,568 (Ohio, brutal)
License & Registration: $249
Bank Fee: $700
Dealer Fee: $300 (was actually more then happy to pay this)
Cash Rebate: -$3000
Monthly Payment: $535
36month/12k miles

Not sure what the overall MF was but I believe it was .00035. If you calculate what the payment on this would be in most states where you just pay the taxes on the lease payments I'd probably be paying right around $450 a month. Beyond happy and was extremely fun driving the 7 hours back to Ohio

The lease cash this month is $4k and dealers are willing to go $3-$4k below invoice price BEFORE you even start talking about $4k dealer cash. My selling price for instance was $47k with the dealer cash. I'd work another thousand or 2 minimum off the $50k offer you received.

10-14% off MSRP is possible for a GS, Lexus is trying to get rid of 15's ASAP because the re design is coming from them. Was in a dealership today, but I am shopping for a 16 RX.

The invoice on the $59k model is about $55k (what the dealer paid for it). Mine was 17.5% off MSRP for example. If you feed them the "another dealer in the area is offering me this" mumbo jumbo they will drop the number for you.

Is the 10%-14% "possible" by dealer markdown of MSRP...or does that include factory incentive money?

Dealer has said they "can do" $7K "off" of a $57.5 2015 GS F Sport...using "all available programs". I am guessing he is including the $4K that I believe is "factory money" currently available on the 2015 GSs. That would make the dealer MSRP markdown at most about 5% of MSRP.

57,500 MSRP

-4,000 Factory "Money"
-3,000 Dealer Markdown = 5.2%
7,000

=50,500 Net Price

If the 10%-14% you mention is all dealer markdown and if they were to move to 10% markdown that would move the Net Price to $47,500...not to speak of what it would be if the dealer went to 14%...in addition to the factory money???

I guess there have been some speaking of Net Prices for F Sports around $47,500...

Is the 10% to 14%...dealer money or is the factory money in this discount???

Thanks...TomMartin

P.S. Is there a particular Lexus dealer in the Chicago/Milwaukee/Madison area that is "known" for aggressive online pricing??? Tom

The dealer will never disclose the dealer cash incentive unless brought up to them so their price always includes the cash incentive. If you are looking at $57,5k F Sports (What mine is on the lease I just signed Monday) with the dealer cash my final Net Selling Price was $47,250.

As far as the Chicago dealerships and that surrounding area I couldn't get any of them lower then $50k at all in selling price. The DC area is very competitive and willing to go lower. Depending on what $3k is worth to you, I would head out there and make a deal happen. I'm sure they would also be willing to ship it to you for very little as well.

That's a lot better. Me personally, I'd rather have the $2k-$3k down payment in my bank with a little higher payment then giving it to the dealer though. The dealership just wants your money up front so they can make money on your money right away. I'd rather pay that over time personally.
