If you did a poll of actual new buyers it would be far higher % lease

Remember that this is a poll of the ClubLexus population, not buyers in general CL members tend to be enthusiasts, more apt to buy vs lease, and also a lot of CL members buy them used, which also skews the results.

Paid cash, drive 20k a year so lease seemed less appealing. If I retire in a year or two I might lease as my daily communte will be a lot less than the 60 miles a day I do now. I always pit a couple of dealers against each other to see who will give the best deal. I will need to educate myself about leasing, not something I am fully confident about negotiating.

- Own - Paid Cash
- Nothing to write off if leased to justify the loss ratio compared to owning
- Planning to own this GS for 10 years - Cherish
- Drive the most (put more miles on it) during the first 3-5 years
- Family gets a new car every 5 years - no reason to get bored with the other car
- This could be my last gasoline based Luxury Sports Sedan
- Next car could be an EV
