Well it is coming up on a year. I will probably renew the Enform since I like knowing I can reach someone incase of emergency or stolen vehicle.

Now for Satellite radio, I seldom use but like knowing the XMWeather and XMTraffic availability. I have the '14 model. From what I have read the weather and traffic are now available without subscription on the '15's. Is there a way to get them on the '14 without Sirius subscription?

Nope what ever comes on the 2015 will not be available for the 2014 or 2013. If you call to xm/sirius and talk to them you can negotiate a lower rate and save money on the same packages that you want.

An example of what i am talking about is this.

2013 does not have but 2014 does have Auto mode climate seat. Power trunk. Power folding mirrors. Full color heads up display (hud) instead of just green.

2014 does not have but 2015 has bird eye view navigation with 3d buildings. Predictive back up camera that shows moving guidance lines. HD radio live traffic.

I just renewed my XM radio (XM Select) for $28 for 5 months. That's not including XM traffic and weather cause mine is still good for a year.

Did you call SiriusXM direct or go through a rep to get that deal? And did you have to play a back-'n-forth game of negotiation?

If you just sit back and not do anything they call you constantly with deals. I was offered SiriusXM for $5 a month and I still turned it down as I don't use it. In fact they call you too much. I had to ignore all their sales calls.

Nop. They called me when I was driving and I had to pull over and asked them 3 times if that price is really for 5 months! Then I pulled out my credit card and deal right there on the street. lol

I was interested in music only for $10 a month but that one pretty much gives me full access for less.

When I was driving my Acura TSX, the folks on the Acura messageboards bragged about getting a lower-priced annual Sirius XM deal. It took some haggling or several "call backs" to speak with a different Call Center Rep who would give a better deal. This is a call you should do from home, not from the car, btw.

From what I've gathered, don't take "no" for an answer and demand for the deal "your Uncle Ted" got, they will probably give you that deal.

They usually call u when ur trial is ending in like 2 weeks or so.

Just give them the silent treatment. They are like ex-girlfriends that can't take a hint. They will call and email you several times a day.
