Oh you used those for your reverse light? Those will not give out good light output...
Those small bulbs are intended to be used for like puddle lights/domelights.

Anyone have a good method for removing the small clips holding the plethora of plastic under the hood?
😁 trying to avoid scratches if possible!

Whatever you do will cause scratches.
Get a flathead wrap it around with paper towel or a soft cloth and try it but again no way to avoid scratches.... Plus thats under the hood why so much worried?

Just thinking you guys might have a better way.
Gsxr, 645, 4Runner...lawnmower😳 all have scratches from the same.
Anyway, by mistake, found that pushing on the center works well. Same as Suzuki.

My reverse light is actually very bright at night!! It's a bright white light and it's free! Really can't beat that! lol

Removing the plastic clips under the hood is easy, try removing the ones on the trunk liner. I broke them all and replaced with new ones when I did my reverse light!

I took off the clips on the trunk liner with the sharp side of the hammer. Was fast and easy.

Man I tried to squash my big hands in that corner and its a no go, I got passenger side done. The suction problem is, from what I found push in then let go don't go back to re position once its food the first time don't rethink it cause its perfectly sealed.

Yep.. I've decided to wait until tomorrow for the fronts. Passenger side, I'm almost sure, will need to have the main headlight bulb removed. Drivers side..who knows..
