Yup! I think it really makes it a luxurious feeling car inside. The wood trim and the seats were really what sold me the car.

Theres a reason why when they show pictures of the car's interior generally they show the luxury package.

You crazy b@stard!

Like I said, options. You should be able to option in or out of the wood wheel within the luxury package.

When dealers did have them in the lot they had always been sitting over a month because there was no demand.

I am not saying it's a bad package but it's just undesirable.
Actually it's just the opposite. The luxury package gives you the adjustable suspension of the F along with several luxury features that you cannot get on an F Sport, but priced very close to the F Sport. We have a luxury package car and I'm really glad we got it.

Yeah, Lexus doesn't like to do piecemeal options which is kind of annoying, but the Germans charge a huge premium for it. It is what it is

The dealership where I bought my car has a 2015 luxury model. It appears to have 18 inch rims on it that look more like the F sport rims. They look better than previous year Luxury rims.

They do exist!

Those look like the F Sport wheels to me, look to be 19's. Could be they come on the luxury model for 2015, or a dealer swap?

I saw the car in person. I looked at the wheels and they are 18 inch, but similar to the f sports.

Actually I don't think this is the one I looked at. The one I saw had grey interior and pretty sure it had 18's. I will be at the dealership on Tuesday morning and will check this thing out and confirm.

I zoomed into the picture of the wheel, can't post it here but you can read the tire size on the sidewall...interesting...

I actually would prefer 18s on the car as the 19s will ride harder.

With the 19s in the luxury package, in an AWD GS truly all you get in the F Sport package is the metal trim and the front bumper.

I am too a GS Luxury owner and would never consider an fsport because i think it was a neutered version with less features that make everyday driving a blissful experience in the luxury version. Its true that the luxury rims alone will steer most people away from luxury package but i bought it anyways because the benefits out weighs the negatives. Most Luxury owners like myself will eventually upgrade to vossen or hre or stance rims anyways and thats reguardless of owning a fsport or not. Even if i owned an fsport i would still replace the fsport rims for aftermarket ones. If anything i think the fsport package is overpriced for the features you get. There are some things i think the fsport should have included is fog lights and adaptive swivel lighting system. Fsports have a sporting intention but luxus did not include those two features that i find is a must have. So i guess lexus did not feel that you need visibility to drive fast on the road at night. Anyways to the forum member that thinks that nobody buys an fsport, YOU are wrong. Plenty of people drive a Luxury GS so stop being a baby and bashing other peoples cars just because you bought cheapest version of the GS.

I love the luxury pkg but I'm not a fan of the wheels.
If I keep my GS I'll probably buy a set of newer luxury wheel take offs here or on ebay.

This is actually a really good idea. But it must be a 2015+ luxury wheel.

Yes.
I think the 15 has a darker wheel than the luxury wheel.

The 2014 has a darker finish, but its the same wheel design. I think the darker finish actually makes them uglier LOL. I tried to find a picture but can't find one. I think somebody here posted them, I'll look.

The 2015s if this is to believe come with a lighter color painted set of the 19" F Sport wheels, I wouldn't want to go to a 19" wheel. I would want to stay OEM, for a while I thought about the 3GS Tourmaline wheels:

Another option would be to have the wheels I have PVD coated. The chrome is a little out of date to me:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/18-LEXUS-GS-PVD-CHROME-WHEELS-RIMS-TIRES-2013-2014-2015-FACTORY-OEM-74271-/201125414852?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheel_Packages&hash=item2ed40247c4&vxp=mtr
They have a black chrome but it always looks too dark to me.
