Default What I love about this forum

Owners here are so engaged. When someone posts a question it immediately gets answered. We are also fanatics about our Lexus vehicles and (for the most part) try to help each other out.

Not as much with the other brands. I was considering a new MB CLS, but there is no activity on that forum and no one even bothered to answer a newbie's questions. I can only interpret that as there are only doctors and their wives driving CLS's and they aren't in the forums.

The activity and input here gives met yet another reason to stick with Lexus.

Agree

The 4GS Forum is especially good here too. Lots of you guys I genuinely enjoy talking to. Other forums even within CL aren't the same.

Almost as fun as AOL chat back in the 90's.

You'll discover less sophisticated and responsive answers in the predecessor sections for this model, but I digress.

That's because the predecessor models are now available at a much lower cost to people who aren't quite so "civil" in their interactions with other people. I found that out when I purchased a used '99 SC300 (my dream car) back in 2002 and noticed when I'd go out at night they were driven by mostly high school kids that had picked up '92 models w/ 100k miles on the cheap. It changes the dynamics of the forum. 5 years from now, the 4th Generation GS forum will change, but hopefully we will have all moved on to the next gen. The Circle of Life!

As some of you know I just bought an A7. I'm surprised at how little activity there is on that forum, I realize it's a low volume car, but even the A6 forum is pretty slow.

I agree with the OP. I have been looking at the audiworld forums on the A7 and its quite slow compared to this forum. This is a happy group of owners and I am glad to be a part of it. I still enjoy my 2013 GS F-Sport.

So, you can only imagine how little activity there was in the S5 Cabriolet forum when I owned that car.
