Default Seats in Premium Package

Perhaps my last question to the experienced forum members here. I'm close to pulling the trigger on Canadian Navigation package, which is Premium package in the US. I've spent some time with the seats, but not 100% sure about the comfort of these seats. Are these comfortable? I realize they are only 10 way, but are they adequately comfortable? Has anyone found them to be uncomfortable?

Go for a luxury package GS this is by far my most comfortable GS and I've had every generation. FSport 16 way for Plan B. Mark Levinson is another option I definetly would not sacrifice if you like music and don't want to upgrade your audio system. I spent 2 months in a "Navigation Package" before purchasing my Luxury and I think it's night and day.

I think it also depends on what car you are coming out of and how comfortable those seats were for you. I only have the luxury GS but seats are far more comfortable than previous car. Maybe next time I will step up to premium. Seats in luxury are certainly not uncomfortable.

I think you mean step down because GS luxury is a better package than GS Premium.

Yes, I do want the Luxury Package, but the way things are, I've a killer price on the Navigation package only. Stepping up to the Luxury or F-Sport would be at least 8k to 10k. Not sure if that would be worth it at this moment. That's what has me confused.
My other vehicle is a Highlander Limited which has thigh extender.

I went back and forth between the Premium and the Luxury package, and the seats in the Luxury package are incredible. They're firm but very comfortable and infinitely adjustable. The seats in the Premium were okay.

Keep shopping.. Extra 5-8k is worth the upgrade to a luxury or F if you ask me.

How about the FSport seat vs the Luxury? I've had the Premium before and the seats are still pretty comfortable, never tried the Luxury though cause not that many around here.

The dfferences between the F Sport seat and the luxury seat are

1. The leather. The Luxury gets the Semi-Aniline leather which is very soft and smooth
2. The articulating backrest. The luxury's seats adjust up at the shoulder area, which is really nice because it lets you bring the headrest closer. I can rest my head on the headrest without leaning back at all. Nice in stop and go traffic.
3. The headrests themselves. The luxury model gets headrests with adjustable wings that cradle your head. I never use them, but my wife has used them if she's trying to nap in the passenger seat on a long trip. Keeps her head from falling down as she drifts in and out.

I have no idea why they went to the expense of developing two seats for the F Sport and the Luxury that are so similar save one adjustment. Why not just use the Luxury seat in the F Sport?

The F Sport and luxury seats get the adjustable upper and lower bolsters and the thigh extenders which are also very nice.

Its just a great seat. In fact when I sat in an LS460 thinking about upgrading, my first thought was that I would really miss my seat. The LS has the thigh extender on the drivers seat only, and doesn't have any of the other adjustments!
