When is the refresh on the GS supposed to happen?

We actually already had this conversation
The 3GS DID have a refresh for 2008. in 2008 it got a new front bumper, new grille, new wheels, new lower rear bumper, new signal mirrors, some new interior trim, new steering wheel. Differences were subtle, but these parts were all new.

I am considering the current GS F Sport, the C Class, E Class(Coupe or Sedan) and the 435ix Gran Coupe too, with the RC Coupe still slightly in the running.

Yeah its very subtle, but its a refresh just the same. I can tell with a glance, but I'm weird.
Oh yea, I forgot. I forgot because its nearly impossible to tell them apart. I bought a 2010 and I sat and looked at the "refresh" next to the earlier model and literally could not tell which was which.

Same thing with the IS, from 2006 to 2013 they only change small things but added the FSport package but they still all look alike, until the 2014 came out.

agreed, I dont know that toyota has another engine right now they could use. there may be one under development, but I think we would have heard rumors of it by now. I anticipate some minor styling changes and some minor interior changes. Nothing very significant.

Toyota slapped a brand new 2.5L engine (2AR-FE) on the refreshed 2010 Camry back then when the 2007-2009 had the older 2.4L 2AZ-FE engine and they both still share the same body, they both still a Gen 6 Camrys, just different lights and front bumper. So there is a chance that it can happen on a GS.

How about the 2015 GS450h F-Sport?

Does anyone think Lexus will put the 2.0T from the NX in this gen GS? The 3 major Germans brands have brought their mid-sized sedans w/ 4 cyl engines over to the US, it would make sense for Lexus to follow suit.

I think they might, but it would be a model beneath the 350.

The planned GS-F would slot in at the top end for those of us wanting more power of course.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Lexus would have it as another model below the 350, so a hypothetical GS250 (or GS200T) would compete with the 528i and A6 2.0T . While the current GS350 would still compete with the 535 and A6 3.0T.
