I’m so thankful I found this thread. I also thought my headlights were too low. I thought it was just me because it never crossed my mind they were set too low from the factory. 4 turns on each light made a world of difference. Now they seem normal.

I've been happy with the factory aim of the headlights in all three of my GSs, but it seems as though I am in the minority. At least it's a pretty easy task to change.

Let me update my part of this thread. I did 3x full 360 degrees turns and found that the headlights were still too low for my liking. I really noticed this when driving on a highway last night and my light beams were still way too short. I never really got a chance to drive at night since my last adjustment so I thought 3 turns were good enough but I was wrong!

So I did another 2 turns and will test it later tonight and see if it's high enough now. I will update again later.

Forgot to update. I did mine last week and it makes a HUGE difference in night driving. Not really sure how many turns I did. I picked a mark on my garage wall and raised the light beam to that level.

It was not so easy to turn the adjusters with the screwdriver but finally got it done.

Okay, so 5 turns were too high. I can see very well but I feel bad for the oncoming traffic.

4x 360 degrees turns is the sweet spot for my 19 GS without triple-beams headlights.

Hi, please, can you tell me if i must adjust bolt 1 and 3 or bolt 1 and 2? My car is european so I must turn bolt 2 or 3 the same number of turns and in the same direction as bolt 1, That's right?

My car have Headlamps Led + afs + ahb

My factory adjusted is too low... If i turn it around 5 times It will be enough? Must I turn off AFS before the adjusment?

On my 2019 with non triple-beam, #3 has nothing under the cover so nothing to adjust. 1 and 2 only, same turns, same direction.

Try 4 full 360 degrees turns first. I think 5 would be too high.

My car is European 2014 GS-450h Luxury. I think with triple beam, right? So i must adjust 1 and 3 only, same turns, same direction. Is it correct?

Oh yes that's different. U don't have #2? Maybe u need to adjust all 3. Same turns, same direction.

ItzFilyO - I didn't realize you were familiar with European Lexus models, especially with AFS. Who knew!
