I just saw a video on GTChannel on YouTube where a guy installed a Spoon exhaust on a Honda S2000 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E40lTHPlc8o#t=478 goes straight to the part of the video where they show what I'm referring to next).
As you can see, the Spoon exhaust has a silencer which is easily removed from the exhaust tip. Does anyone know if that can be done on the stock 4GS exhaust?
I'm a newb when it comes to working on cars so please don't bash me if this sounds stupid lol.

Thanks for the reply. Basically there is no "cheap and easy" way to make the exhaust louder, correct? I'd have to go with a new aftermarket exhaust for that?

Aren't the resonators behind the muffler and if they are im pretty sure you can remove the mufflers and leave the resonators on which would make the exhaust louder, without any drone

I have a 2012 Challenger SRT, I took the resonators out and it sounds AMAZING!. Only cost me about $50 to do it as well. But that's a V8. I don't think a V6 would sound good. Your going to get a Civic SI sound. I would just leave it stock, take a breath and just drive.

Drone is the sound that comes from cruising along the highway. It's the sound your exhaust emits when the engine is under a slight load. It sounds like a constant deep humming in a tin can. That's the best I could describe it.

This is exactly how I would explain it when I had my Challenger R/T without resonators. But that car had cylinder deactivation so I think that may have been part of the culprit.
