Default Sport + Mode

Man I love this car, learning more about it every day. Driving to get a cup of coffee today and hit the Sport + mode for first time and immediately the steering wheel and suspension became stiffer and this thing took off like a rocket. A huge grin appeared on my face as we came to a red light, must have a still been smiling since some old dude in a mustang pulled over, looked at me probably wondering "what the hell is this guy so happy about".

Its amazing how much we mod the IS250-IS350 to give us this same feel but the GS comes like this out the factory.

Even my wife, who by the way is not really into cars, comes back after driving it for the first time and looks at me and says, "man, your car sure is badass!" LMAO!

Love my GS

Great post!

Made me smile just reading it, and then smile afterwards cause I know what your talking about...

Cruising on the freeway going about 70mph in sport mode. Nail the throttle, feel your neck snap back, hear the exhaust growl, and realize your close to 100mph, in what felt like just a few seconds.

Driving nirvana

Yes, your comments made me smile too. Between the way the car gets up to speed and the noise it makes getting there, when I step on it and have a passenger in the car they grip the armrest and brace their feet on the floor!

My wife is still too intimidated to drive it. I'm still trying to push her to drive it more.

I feel you man!
My wife is not really into cars either, she yells at me to slow down when I drive more than 70miles at freeway
with other cars. But! even though I drive faster than 80miles with GS, she says "hmm it feels really safe!" lol

Recently Car and Driver Magazine did a shootout among the valentine one, the passport escort, and the common wife. The wife model, with persistent, fun killing audible alerts was found to be 1000% more effective at reducing the chances of a speeding ticket.

The Valentine and Escort use radar.
The common wife uses neurosis.
