Congrats on the new ride. It's a hell of a vehicle, and I'm thinking that your going to absolutely love it.

I feel your pain on the front plate damage. Mine came with that too. It's so ridiculous that in 2015, we still haven't figured out a way to not ruin a new bumper while mounting a license plate.

Look at it this way though....you put the front plate on, and you lessen the chances of a cop on a power trip pulling you over and ruining your driving enjoyment.

Congrats! Welcome to the 4GS forum. You have great taste my fellow nebula/cabernet twin

It hurts me to see those holes in the front bumper. I've been lucky twice in getting a GS F-sport without holes. All dealers should really ask their customers before drilling. Since you already took off the mount, I assume you don't want to put a front plate on. Consider getting color matched bumper plugs mentioned in other threads. I'm considering a tow hook plate mount for that day I get a ticket and getting cops to sign off, then taking it off again.

Crazy, my 1990 Z had front plate, but they used a bracket no holes in bumper...

I've never had to do front plates here in New Mexico and I do completely understand and prefer not wanting holes or a front plate but if it's required I don't really see the big deal.

It's not so much the holes that bothered me... its when they screwed the license plate into the bracket when they went in too deep and made 2 additional dings on the bumper that shouldn't be there.

Congrats on the car man you will def enjoy it, the bumper plugs I will say don't really work and to me are not worth the price. You could literally make them yourself, I ordered them and wasn't to happy with them as I could have bought them at home depot.
