I've been a long time lurker on this forum, so thought I'd give some info to the 4GS community. Thanks everyone for making this a great forum!

What Pads did you install with the EBC rotor ?. I've also got them, but haven't installed it yet. I'm still looking for pads to pair it with.

I installed the OEM pads from Toyota/Lexus. Brake dust doesn't bother me on the graphite wheels.

Update: very squeaky when "cold" e.g. backing out of garage. But squeaks are gone by the first stop sign down the block. Don't know if there's a way to address it. Tips welcome!

there is no min thickness for the stock 2 piece rotor, I tried searching that to see if I can cut the rotor but nothing. so I just put pads and reuse the rotor until my 3rd brake job, which I put in new rotor and pads.

ya, I was waiting for people that have the ebc 1 piece rotor for some review but no1 ever come bak and say anything about it, so I just have to wait another year for rr racing to come out with their rotor and see.

I ended up buying the EBC rotors. Once I get the EBC rotors on, I'll get the OEM rotors cut and resell them or just store them until I need them.

Dam. I might get a cancellation also since I placed my order with carid yesterday.

Are you planning on going with EBC pads or OEM pads with your new EBC rotors?

Sorry for the delay I missed this reply. The brakes still squeak when cold through first couple of stops. Not sure if it's the rotors (EBC) or the pads (OEM) or both. I'd make the same decision based on cost, the infrequent noise doesn't bother me. Hope EBC continues to manufacture them!
