Every time I brought mine in for service, it came back with 36-37 psi. I used to run 32-33 on Dunlops but now I run 30-31 on Yokohama. A few psi difference sure change the ride quality (and MPG).

I actually find the Michelin Pilot Super Sports have a fairly high profile... much higher than the Dunlaps I traded in on them. The sidewall is definitely taller.

The sidewall height does not change (regardless of tire brand) when the tire size is the same.

Unfortunate but true.

I showed up at the dealership to drive a F-sport and, lo and behold, they just received a 2013 black on grey GS with Lux package! Totally loaded with blind spot, ML, HUD, etc. Wow, was it nice. Didn't take long to know luxury package was for me. Seats were incredibly comfortable. Both my wife and I were blown away. This one did have the 18" 9 split-spoke wheels.

Couldn't pull the trigger on the black on grey color scheme. Although it was shiny and beautiful, I have owned too many black cars over the year to trust myself with keeping it that way.

Ordered Starfire Pearl with flaxen. Honestly, I like the look of the painted F-sport wheels the best, and will just have to deal with it if that's what shows up with. I asked him to specify 18" wheels on the order, but who knows if that will make a difference.

The luxury package is what sold me the GS.
Hmm, drove a 2014 LS-460L F-sport (CND) and it came with the 18 way PS with 3x memory control on both sides, just like my GS Tech/Luxury.

One our main criteria was seat comfort mainly for my wife, and she liked the LS seats better than the GS? Told her they where basically the same seats but she insisted they felt different and maybe they use different leather on the LS or ??

On the subject of Wheels my GS-350 AWD Tech/Luxury came with the platinum coloured 19" twin spoke wheels, which I really like. So when it came to winter tires my dealer offered me the same looking rim, but in silver. When he told me the price of 4 wheels I got a big grin on my face and said sold!
On the drive home (100 miles) I was surprised at how nice the new winter tires (Ice X3) felt. Quiet, smooth, handled nice, did I mention smooth
Was reading this thread and decided to look at the sidewalls, and low and behold they are 18"'s not the 19" like my summer wheels. The ride is much smoother on the 18's !

You'll love the flaxen Chuck, I still love mine.

As for the seats, could be the F Sport LS gets the 18 way seats, I've not driven an F Sport. The non F Sport LS does not come with those seats though.

From what I can find the LS F Sport does not have the same seat controllability as the GS Luxury.

These are the seat controls of an LS F Sport:

Seat controls of a GS Luxury:

As you can see the LS does not have the articulating backrest, and does not have power adjustable bolsters of any kind.

The LS and GS do both have "18 way power seats" but what is power is different. The LS has power adjustable headrests, the GS does not. The LS also has power adjustable seatbelt anchors. The LS also has 4 way adjustable lumbar, while the GS actually has two lumbar bolsters. If you take those two things into account, you could say that the LS has "18 way power seats".

The GS has adjustable side bolsters, the articulating backrest, upper and lower power lumbar cushions as well as the other seat controls found in the LS. And remember, the GS luxury has both front seats with all this adjustment, the LS passenger seat does not have the thigh extender.

Thanks SW13GS.

Would have swore they where 18 way with three presets on passenger side.

But then again I test drove a LOT of cars before buying the GS!

Geeze maybe there was good reason my wife liked the LS better

I'm sure they have three presets, thats pretty common, some ES packages also have 3 presets for the passenger, as does my GS.

The reason anybody would like the LS better is that its a better car LOL. The GS is a great car, but the LS is obviously a better car...it should be for $20-30k more.

Received my brand new 2015 silver 4GS, and the 19" silver F Sport derived 5-spoke alloys are fine.
Still very smooth and quiet, though not as "plush" as the old 18" 9 spoke alloys.

It's the similar story with my wife's 3IS F Sport.
Her F Sport's 18" alloys are reasonably smooth and quiet, [though not as smooth and quiet as the 4GS 19"].
However, the base model 3IS' 17" alloys are really "plush" compared to her F Sport's 18"...
