I can confirm I had to make the lane change customization in my 2015 with the tedious instructions above vs what it appears the RX offers in the gui!

Sorry - I don't see how to change #1 (remove the variable blue glow at top of display). Looked through the menu options, and in manual. I have a 2013 GS.

While stopped, go to the Center display settings (DISP button on the steering wheel). Push and hold DISP until you see “Settings”. Go to ECO Lamp. It will give you the option to turn ON/OFF/ON (Always).

Also for details see Page 86 of the manual at: http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do...pdf/sec_02.pdf

OK thanks Atomic. Got rid of the blue light.

Truly one of the silliest display features I've ever seen; almost as useless as the "real time" MPG needle I had on my former BMW. (I'd much rather have an engine temperature gauge in that spot.)

Nice to hear you got that thing turned off.. I totally agree this ECO glow thing makes no sense in a "luxury sports sedan".

A glowing blue light isnt going to save the Earth anytime soon, and doesnt really save much gas either.. I think it is more distracting than helpful, and I personally found it annoying and Prius-esque.

It was kind of like having my Mom in the car telling me to slow down every time I pressed the gas pedal!

1) Changed easy exit driver seat to partial. Full crushes the legs of rear passengers.

3) Automatic climate control increases 2 degrees instead of default 4 through voice control.
How do you change #3? Do I need Carista to do it?

Thanks in advance.

Good one! At least they didn't program the car's voice to scold you whenever you accelerate too fast.

Thanks ComSciGuy. I just ordered the OBD2 device and will download Carista later this week. Seemed like a reasonable expense given all of the customization you can do.

Yes.
Saved Destinations through Enform App:
1)Download the Lexus Enform App Suite.
2) Setup an account (free) or login.
3) Then use the bing icon to make a search.
4) Select your destination and hit "Save."
5) Then go to your car and make sure Bluetooth on phone is on and Enform app is running.
6) Select "Saved Destinations" in Lexus App Suite on the car
7) Sync list and you should see your list of places
8) Click on the one you want and select "Go To".

It's easier than it looks once you get it. Saved Destinations feature remains free, unlike eDestinations which is tied in with Safety Connect (1-year trial).

eDestinations through Safety Connect:
1) Go to drivers.lexus.com
2) Setup an account (free) or login
3) Select eDestinations icon
4) Find your destination
5) Create a folder and save destination into it
6) Select sync with car
7) Go to car and select Destination, then POI
8) Select eDestinations and download
9) Click on folder, select your place, hit "Go to"

These were great tips for saving destinations for quick searching, but for another really easy wat to get navigational directions coming from the phone to the car here is what I do:

I just use google maps to search, then click navigate on the phone, and sure enough the GS350 will start relaying me the vocal navigational directions right over the Mark Levinson Deluxe system!
