How Often Do You Go WOT (Wide Open Throttle) With Your GS 350?

I WOTed today going from 70-100 in Sport+ cause some fool in a stanced Civic wanted to mess with me. But when I got to 100+ my dad started to freak out so I let it go. It sure didn't feel like going 100 in this car, feels like nothing. Until u start seeing other cars got passed like they're standing still.
Can't WOT when I have my parents with me, only Eco Mode all day long.

I was showing off to one of the kids at church today and took him to a back road and hit 70. He couldn't stop giggling... And he's 17 lol.

How about a follow up thread, how many times a week do you see you traction control kicking in as a result?!
My GS would melt these rear tires instantly hitting WOT from start if it wasnt for traction control kicking in.
Anyone else else see this yellow flash on WOT?

I turned off traction control on a wet road the other day and I spin through 3rd gear.

Merged onto the highway last night and stretched her legs to close to 130. Thought I saw a cop so I slammed on the brakes. 130 to about 70 in just a couple of seconds. This car stops just as good as it goes.

I never see the tcs light. It's not a torque-y car so there's not much power there to spin the wheels. Unless you do a launch by holding the break and the gas. That's the only the light flashes for me.

My TC light is always on whenever I gun it hard, especially on a wet road.

I think I did it once last year, passing another car on a two lane road on the way back from Santa Fe. It went fast, and that is coming from someone who has owned five Porsches!

This car shoots from 50 to 100+ in no time at all, very good passing power when ur in the right gear.

I have to admit, i've been going WOT a lot more lately with the GS. Im just coming up on the 5 month mark and i am a lot more comfortable with the steering and throttle and i gotta say, this is an outstanding vehicle. Yes i wish i had the F Sport wheels but i really dont care thats how good it is. I might just buy this, or if there is a refresh might trade it in and buy that. I found a home with Lexus, going stick around for a while. Now make a real damn sports car already, that competes with the Ms and the AMGs. *crosses fingers for GS F*

Revive this thread .... How about WOT for an extended period of time ....say like for approx 5 miles or so. Hit 145 ish and then the fuel limiter kicks in and will not go any faster.. How can this setting be changed to what the tire is capable of say 165 , let me program 165 ... will it go 165? Probably not but let me see. I have had a few high speed runs with a Mustang 5.0 GT and BOTH of us could not go faster than 145 ish!!! However the GT can accelerate faster.

So the Mustang is limited to 145 too?

I removed the speed limiter and redline limiter and also changed fuel mapping on my old M3 with software.
