Buying a 2013 GS 350
I'm currently in the process of buying a GS 350 and wanted to gather some thoughts on the vehicle I am thinking about purchasing
The car is a 2013 GS 350 AWD
Liquid Platinum exterior
Light Gray interior
Navigation
Cold Weather Package
18 Inch Wheels
60K miles
30K asking price
Clean one owner carfax with all Lexus maintenance performed by a Lexus Dealer, the question mark I have is that the car was registered as a commercial vehicle, should I be concerned about that?
I test drove the car and it runs fine and the interior and exterior are in great shape
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Check your local dmv.gov to see what a "commercial vehicle" is actually defined as..
In my state, California, a commercial vehicle is registered as anything over 10k pounds combined gross vehicle weight. So that would mean someone was towing 7k pounds behind their GS for work duty, and I personally wouldnt want one of those!!
Hope this is somewhat helpful.. gl in your shopping

A vehicle is designated 'commercial' when it is titled or registered to a company instead of an individual. In all likelihood the person that drove that vehicle either owned or was employed by a company that furnishes one or more vehicles to employees. It's commonly done...

Almost 60,000 miles is a lot of miles in just under 3 years - ~21,000 Miles/Year. And the car is not a Lexus CPO because it is being sold by a Toyota dealership...which makes me wonder why/how a Toyota dealership acquired the vehicle.
I would steer clear of this one.

I think you guys are overthinking this a little.
The car isn't sold CPO by the Lexus dealership that did all of the service because it was not traded in to them. Dealerships are independent businesses, just because something is a Lexus doesn't mean that it automatically goes back to a Lexus dealer when its sold or traded in. The Toyota dealer took it in on trade, and they are selling it on their lot for a profit.
If all the service has been done by the Lexus dealer, its a well maintained Lexus with 30k miles at a great price. A CPO one is going to be lower mileage, but its going to cost you at least $5k more. This is a ton of car for $30k. If everything checks out...I'd buy it.

Buy it, that car looks nice!
It's a Lexus so 60K miles is nothing, but that light grey interior will get jeans stain like crazy. Even with my Cabernet I have to clean it at least twice a month.
