Wire routing for proclip mount
I'd like to mount my iPhone using the proclip mount, and have the wire run discreetly into the centre console where it would connect to one of the usb ports.
This should be pretty easy to do, but I can't find any good photos of how to disassemble the center console. I'd need the wire behind the moulding of the stereo head unit, and run through the wiring channels of the center console. I'll probably need to drill a small hole in the storage bin to keep the wire hidden, but that's no big deal....
Anyways, anyone have any good directions on how to do this?
Edit: the goal is to see as little of the lightning usb cable as I can, while letting the phone mount on the dash.
Oops.. 2015 GS 350 F-Sport, if that helps..

Does no one have any info/directions/suggestions on how to remove the leather trim on the outside of the center console, the trim around the stereo head unit and/or the area around the gear shifter?
I just don't want to break clips as I try to route the wire!

It looks like the leather trim pieces pry from the rear near the arm rest.... No?

You can hide cable under red leather trim. You should be able to put the finger into gap and put the cable there. When using USB connector inside box the cable will be visible just for one inch. And arm rest is easy to close and open. For me it is better then making a hole somewhere. You can try and will see if it is OK for you or not
