What concerns me more than the chime is - why are you in ECO mode...

LOL. I gave up on ECO mode except when it's cold and I just started driving. The car idles much higher and lunges forward in the cold when not in ECO mode. ECO mode sucks in the summer too as it limits your AC.

I use the Eco Mode in SoCal traffic too. Still got plenty of punch too if u floor the throttle.

The last time I was on I-5 in SoCal the traffic was either stop-n-go, or I was going 90-95 MPH and plenty of cars were passing me.

I mostly only drive off peak hours so 80 is my cruising speed. LOL. Earlier this month I had an undercover cop follow me in my blind spot at 1am. I knew a car was there as my BSM was lit. What I didn't know was that it was law enforcement.. I thought some guy was trying to play with me so I punched it.

Instantly the lights came on and I proceeded to change lanes getting ready to pull over using some colorful words. But alas the Lexus Gods smiled on me that night. The police officer drover alongside me, pointed down to the speedo and motioned me to slow down.

Same here, didn't use eco at all last summer. Texas heat-max ac.

Don't worry about the sound of a soft little chime. THIS is what you need for your GS 350.

unfortunately we have a lot of tarts in Los Angeles. They will be driving 65 mph but as soon as you want to pass them or speed up, they will speed up as well. Its like they feel bad and to save their dignity they must not let you pass.

And the funny thing is, you will hardly see someone with a Amg 63 or a M5 or S6, speeding and wanting to race everyone. Its the people in Honda Accords and Prius's that are always pedal to the metal, cutting you off in traffic. Especially Prius drivers. I repeat we have a lot of tarts in L.A.

I personally put my cruise control to 70-75mph and usually just stick to one lane unless I need to pass a slow vehicle. Even when im driving my faster vehicles.

Sometimes I wish I have those train horns, like today, 3 Mercedes cut me off like I didn't exist. Funny thing was those idiots ended up cutting each other too. hahah
