Vinyl Blackout in Brooklyn NY
Guys,
I recently picked up a 2015 GS350 F-Sport in Liquid Platinum.
I'm looking to modify it a bit with the following:
Black out (vinyl) the front bumper & grill section
Black out the chrome around the windows and on the trunk
Black out all emblems in the back (not sure if paint of vinyl).
Tints
Add a roof spoiler color matched to the Liquid Platinum
The problem I'm having is finding a decent place to do the work.
I first went to oneightynyc.com as I heard some good things about them. They gave me a general idea of the price, and said they would call me back in a few days once they got final pricing on a few small parts they would need. I didn't hear from them for 2 weeks, so I decided to go elsewhere.
By that time I already ordered the roof spoiler from ebay (unpainted).
So I took it to 212 Motoring and asked them to do everything. They gave me a price range, and said they would get the spoiler painted first and then call me back to get everything else done.
It's been almost 2 weeks now, and still nothing. When I call the shop the guy tells me that his painters are very booked up and it "should" be ready by the end of this week.
I'm getting very frustrated with all this nonsense. Is there no decent shop in Brooklyn that can handle this for me, and will do it in a timely manner? Am I asking for too much??
Best part is that the guys from oneightnyc.com eventually did call me back, said they would do the work and then told me it would cost 20% more than initially quoted. That's after I told them the roof spoiler was already being painted & installed - so they wouldn't need to do it anymore. Can you imagine?? Talk about bait-n-switch.
Sorry for the rant

Thanks SC300Es - I'll give him a call. He's a bit out there, but I'm willing to drive out there if the job is done right.
SNiiP3R - Didn't you read my post? ONEighty were the ones who forgot about me for 2 weeks and then tried to pull a bait and switch on the price.
