just got my enform activated and now the remote start works. so, based on this, enform has to be active for it to work. btw i have a 2015. i wonder if it'll work once my enform expires.

i don't see how remote start is beneficial though since the car turns off when you open anything. i guess it'd be nice for cold weather places to warm up the car...but in socal, meh.

On my Volt, remote start leaves the car on when you unlock and open the door. It seems counter-intuitive to remote start and have it shut off once you open the door. It's a very useful feature on my volt. Don't have it on my lexus, though!

I live in Texas and use the remote start to cool the car in the summer when I leave the office. If I remember correctly, it sets the A/C around 75 degrees.

The remote start is included as part of the enform suite on the 2015. Prior to 2015, you had to add remote start as an option. If you let your enform expire, you will lose your remote start on your 2015.

So hardly a "favorite" feature but this morning I noticed that the little white line on the ***** to open/close the dash vents are illuminated at night. Seriously, they've thought of everything!

People who have driven this vehicle and complains that it is slow or lagging during wide open throttle because they did not access the full throttle mode.

Full throttle mode is basically a small tactile detent in our gas pedal. To access it you would need to step on the gas pedal all the way to the floor. And right when you think it has reached its full travel you have to apply more pressure and go past that detent and voila! Full throttle mode baby!
Gonna have to try this out

So I got a courtesy car wash at Lexus today and when I got into the car I realized that the wipers had been moved (I thought they broke something) but I just found out that there are two settings for how the wipers sit. With a little pressure you can pull them out from the tucked position. Not my favorite feature but good to know. BTW I just got my 2015 GS350 FSport 2 months ago.

It's only when your door is unlocked. I've opened it plenty of times to blow water out after washing my car and didn't have the key on me. It was inside the house.

I love how as soon as I hit the start button - zip! - the remote touch controller centers itself!

My favorite feature is the automatic locking doors. I had a 2012 ES and this wasn't in there, and it just seemed like a braindead thing to include. I have mine set to 30 seconds. Now I never have to wonder, "did I lock my car?" As long as no one opened the door within 30 seconds of me closing the door the answer is "yes."

I just found another one. When the car is on a steep hill it will detect it and won't roll backwards, and you don't have to put your foot on the brake. It makes acceleration from stop smooth and easy.

Remote start activated my heated seat when the rear climate controls were turned off.
I had given up on forcing this to happen until one day the seat was on and I figured out what was different.
I keep them off until needed now.

I just realized last week that I can fast forward/rewind through a song using the steering wheel controls instead of the radio button.
