My dash just informed me that my keyless entry unit battery is low. Never had a car remind me of that :-)

Windshield-wiper deicer

Didn't know I had this, but apparently part of the cold weather package. Once took 7.5 months to discover this feature.

I noticed this today for the first time when in S/S+ mode on my 2017 GS ... If you have to break suddenly, the car will "save the gear" you were in, so once you clear grandpa you don't have to start from scratch from a severely lower mph. I didn't know what was going on ... my car was making all types of angry sounds until I hit the gas again. Reminded me of my ex ...

Maybe I'm missing it, but is there a easy way to change XM radio stations from my steering wheel? I hate having to reach over to scroll the **** on the right side of the radio each time. I wish I could just use my up arrow on my steering wheel. On other cars I could change assignments for what each steering button could do.

My 2016 GS350 changes pre-set satellite stations with the up and down arrows on the left side of the steering wheel

My '13 GS350 Fsport lights up when i approach it at night. The way it fades on is cool.

Just discovered the adjustable tilt down side mirrors while in reverse feature. It was preset in my old IS, didn't know I could change the position in my GS.

Press and hold down the audio source button on the left side of the steering wheel to mute whatever is playing on the sound system.

Absolutely going to test if this works on my 2IS!

My favorite feature so far - slow cars getting out of my way on the road.

can't you just set the XM stations you want in your presets and scroll that way? You can combine AM/FM/XM presets

WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT

This is awesome. 4 years and 50k miles and had no clue. Just been reaching over to the pause button to pause or mute.

You, Sir, win the day.

Default Gas Cap

I did a search and haven't seen this covered. What's the little round, circle thing inside the fuel door? I thought maybe it was to somehow hold the gas cap when off but can't seem to figure that out. No holder for the gas cap when open?

You are right that it is a holder. It holds it gas cap facing down. The cap should sit on it quite nicely. If you need a pic I have to get gas today and can gladly upload one

Here is a link to a video of how I use mine: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AnxiuFOeO5OQnDXJVyVgN20FsNrI

Sorry if it’s been discussed but I just found out if you hit the lock button 3 times the hold on the third press the engine starts..... I almost did a cart wheel. You can start the car from a smart phone or Apple Watch but just using the buttons is convenient as well.
