I found that the Adaptive Cruise works down to 0 mph. My 16 ES350 would shut off at around 28 or 32 mph.
Once you hit 0 mph it will show waiting. To start again just tap the cruise stalk up or tap the gas pedal.
Very happy with this feature...

Really? Mine turns off at exactly 25 MPH. I also can't start cruise control until I'm up to 25 MPH. What car do you have now?

If you turn on the Lane Keeping Assist and Steering Assist, it'll even steer itself in a traffic jam. Below 20mph or so, it won't even ask you to put your hands back on the wheel. Does a pretty good job too. I worry less about traffic jams now (which is a guarantee here in LA) since the car can take over and do it all. Had no idea Lexuses were capable of this kinda stuff til after I bought it. Extremely pleasant surprise.

I believe the adaptive cruise control was changed to an "all speed" system for MY 2016.

I picked up my 13' GS F-Sport last night, went to park and thought....I can't see the curb! So I adjusted the side mirror and it remembered later that night. Instantly gave me a semi.

Be prepared for more of that when you find more of the little things you didn't know the GS did.

Default Wiper position

I just figured out there is different settings on the actual wiper arms? The wipers tuck down under
the hood so they don’t look so ugly up on the windshield, then when you need to change the blades you pull the arms up and the wipers move more up on the windshield? Crazy! Not sure if that was mentioned in the 36 pages, I only made it through 20 pages tonight lol

The 'upper' position is for wintertime to help prevent ice and snow from trapping the wipers.

Saw this on the LS thread and found that it works on the GS.

If you would like to turn on the engine from the passenger seat (or driver seat without using the brake), push the start button once to go into accessory mode. Then push it again but hold it in for 15 seconds and the car will start. Verified on my 15 GS.

Now that is a worthwhile discovery! Thanks!

Yeah. Also on the '14. Is it a Lexus thing and not just a GS thing? Likely so but can anyone confirm?
