My recent very neat discovery was the 3D maps during my drive into Downtown Chicago. Now my BMW iDrive system does this feature too but the Lexus actually does a better rendering of the details and architecture/design of the buildings especially when in street level mode. For example they actually show the "Bean" and actual "Face" on the Face water fountain to name a few small details, which was pretty cool..but that's about it unfortunately as the rest of the Lexus "infotainment" system is atrocious, slow and very cumbersome and that mouse thingy is the worst design in the history of automotive infotainment integration
I discovered that I can adjust the ride setting independent of the sport mode selector switch. I can now have the sport suspension setting even in Eco mode. (2018 F Sport)

I will confirm this tonight when I get home but I believe this is correct. On page 69 of the infotainment manual (2018 F-Sport)
Using the Joy stick Select menu -> Setup -> Vehicle -> Scroll down to #6 Drive Mode Customization

this is actually the custom drive select mode. when you press down on the selector it either goes to normal or custom. this is just where you setup the customized mode

That's what that means??
I never would have guessed based on the wording in the manual.

If you look at the photo in the top left corner you'll see the compass and an "Options" button to the right of it. Clicking the compass button in the top left allows you to cycle through the available views. The closer you have the map zoomed in, the more buildings & details you'll see.

so drive select you have 4 or 5 modes. Eco, normal, custom and sport/sport plus. Eco is left, sport right on the selector and you press down on the selector to switch between normal and custom

That actually sounds useful, being able to customise...Looks like they forgot it on my '12 haha.
I just noticed last night on the map during navigation that as you get within 1/2 mile or so from the next turn, a blue line shows up on the right and gets shorter as you get closer to the turn.
Very helpful at night when there several streets between you and your turn.
