asdlkfjasoiefesa BRAKE SQUEAL!!

Update...
Lexus corporate scheduled an appointment for me with the service manager. I took the car in and had a quick chat with him. After a few days of holding my car, the service manager and techs at Glendale deemed my car as having a normal amount of brake squeal... They refused to resurface the rotors or change the pads because the ear piercing brake squeal was considered normal and would come back anyways.
I'm officially stuck with the car... I can't sell it because no buyer will purchase the car with this amount of brake squeal and I refuse to lose money at carmax.. WTH SHOULD I DO!!?!?

My squeal has been gone ever since I painted my calipers. I did spray an insane amount of brake cleaners during the prepping stage though. I heard sometimes painting the calipers reduced brake noise too.

Try doing a proper break in. A couple high speed stops. This will explain how to safely. http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/tech/....jsp?techid=85

My brakes did the same in the beginning. Dealer agreed to replaced rotors/ pads after I refused re-surfacing. Three months later squeak again. I replaced w ceramic pads. Good for 6 months and squeaked even more than oem. I switched back to OEM and squeak gone! No idea why.
I was going to buy out this car but that brake problem left a sour taste in my mouth. Needless to say I'm turning this car in at lease end. I don't think most people have this problem. But when you do its a royal pia.

hey guy so my GS is 2014, and i just hit 20000 miles, i start noticing the squeak like last month, it getting worst and worst. does that mean i need to replace my pads or is it not something wrong?

Normally a squeal is when your pads are worn down. There are little metal squealer pins that make contact on the rotor and make noise when the pad material is low however a squeek or squeal can be other things - a pad that squeaks when hitting a rotor surface due to the material composition, a problem with the caliper, worn rotors or rotors that need replacing or resurfacing, glazed rotors etc.
You have to check your pads to see if that's the issue. In the case of most of the cases posted above it seems these brakes are prone to making noise despite working properly. These cars also seem to like to go through brakes very quickly.

i went to the dealer other week they told me nothing wrong, they suggest i try replacing the front brake as it only 3mm thick left. however, I had a IS in the past and didn't have to replace the pads until I hit like 40000 miles.
